Classical cars
My favourite images of classical cars pictured throughout Havana & other parts of Cuba, the largest island in the Caribbean. It is said that by the mid 1950's there were more than 140,000 cars in Cuba with approximately 90,000 on the streets of Havana, the capital. Fast forward to 1959, the Cuban revolution & the subsequent import embargo from the USA meant that those who owned a car had to do what they could to look after them. Nearly sixty years on, Havana still has a very nostalgic feel to it - indeed walking some of the back streets you would think you in a time warp or an open air museum at times. This collection packed full of colourful classic cars from the USA, all of varying names, shapes & sizes seen either on the roadside or travelling in front of the colonial buildings.
Split
My favourite images of Split, the second largest city of Croatia and the largest city in the region of Dalmatia. Split is home to the Palace of Diocletian (an Unesco World Heritage Site), large harbour & marinas, beautiful architecture & the palm tree lined Riva which forms the promenade where the city meets the Adriatic Sea.
Liverpool at night
My favourite images of Liverpool taken either at night or during twilight. The rejuvenated Liverpool waterfront looks equally as stunning by day as it does lit up at night as the light fades. The collection includes the Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool Town Hall & the Three Grace's on the Liverpool skyline (made up of the Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building & the Port of Liverpool Building) reflecting in the River Mersey. There are also fireworks & traffic trails taken throughout the city.
Statues & monuments
My favourite images of statues & monuments made to keep memories of a person or an event alive. These include the Beatles/Fab Four, Liver Birds above the Royal Liver Building, Edward VII & Captain Walker on the Liverpool waterfront, Bob Paisley carrying Emlyn Hughes & Bill Shankly at Anfield (home of Liverpool FC), Lancaster bomber statue at the International Bomber Command Centre near Lincoln, Battle of Britain memorial in London, Shoes on the Danube Bank & The Little Princess in Budapest, Jimmy Armfield at Bloomfield Road (home of Blackpool FC), Marko Marulic & Orlando in Croatia, Guardian bull outside the Bullring in Birmingham city centre, Empowerment Statue over the River Witham in Lincoln, Dixie Dean outside Goodison Park (home of Everton FC), Blitz memorial & Hillsborough Disaster memorials in Liverpool city centre, and Che Guevara in Santa Clara (Cuba).
Cromer
My favourite images of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. Whilst Cromer Pier is the focal point of this seaside down, the gem of the Norfolk coast also features rows of multi coloured beach huts, a fishing fleet and miles of beach divided up by wooden groynes stretching out into the sea. Images in the collection include sunsets, seascapes, the fishing fleet, groynes & those large pebbles.
Newborough
My favourite images of Newborough beach also known as Llanddwyn beach, backed by the stunning pine trees of Newborough Forest in Anglesey. The large sandy beach which surrounds Llanddwyn Bay is divided in half by Llanddwyn island which is best known for it's two lighthouses; Twr Bach (Small Tower) being the original lighthouse built to guide ships into the Menai Strait & Twr Mawr (Big Tower) which is the more recent one with winding steps up to its entrance.
Hunstanton
My favourite images of Hunstanton on the edge of the North Norfolk coast. Home to the striped cliffs on Old Hunstanton (made up of red-brown carstone, sandstone & pebbly sandstone which contains some feldspar & glauconite). Known to the locals as Sunny Hunny, the rock pools, Hunstanton beach, Fish & Chip shops, amusements, fun fair & promenade attracts holiday makers all year round to the most northern part of West Norfolk.
Llandudno
My favourite images of Llandudno on the North Wales coast. Images include the trams & cable cars on the Great Orme. The headland offers panoramic views along both directions with Anglesey visible on the West & the shores of North Wales on the East backed by steep rugged mountains. Llandudno Pier & the hotel lined promenade which face Llandudno Bay make up the collection.
Cunard 175th anniersary
My favourite images captured in Liverpool of the Cunard line cruise ships (3 Queens) when they celebrated their 175th anniversary on the Liverpool waterfront, featuring the "Three Queens" of the Cunard fleet - Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Air Force's aerobatic display team the Red Arrows.
Southport
My favourite images of Southport, the large seaside town on the Northern end of the Sefton coastline near Liverpool. Southport Pier stretches out over the marina & dominates the beach & seascapes with it's 1.1km length - indeed it's the second longest pier in the country & is the oldest iron pier in the country.
St Pauls cathedral
My favourite images of St Pauls cathedral in Greater London. The Grade I listed building is situated on Ludgate Hill which is the highest point of the City of London. Although the London skyline is forever changing, the iconic dome of the Anglican cathedral still dominates many images.

Since July 2005 they have watched boats of all shapes & sizes navigating the entrance to the River Mersey as they travel between the Irish Sea & the Liverpool docks & beyond.

Dunes which make up this collection include those on the Welsh coast, North Norfolk coast & Sefton coast near Liverpool.
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
My favourite images of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight & Battle of Britain monuments captured throughout the United Kingdom. Stationed at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, the Lancaster bomber, Spitfire, Hurricanes & C47 Dakota which make up the BBMF take part in many flypasts & airshows throughout the spring & summer every year to commemorate people who have fallen during service of the country. Images in the collection were taken at various airshows - some of these WW2 aircraft have been captured alone but most show them in different formations. The series is completed with the Battle of Britain monument seen on the Victoria Embankment next to the River Thames in London.

Groynes
My favourite images of wooden groynes and revetments seen around the British coastline. These can be found on many beaches to stop the movement of sediment by mother nature. They also offer photographers different ways to capture seascapes, adding interest to wider images or providing the focal point as they jut out into the sea.
River Thames
My favourite images of the River Thames weaving through the capital of England. The collection features striking landmarks including The Shard, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, the Square Mile & the Houses of Parliament captured from bridges spanning the river, the North Bank, South Bank & a few other vantage points over the famous river.
Liverpool skyline
My favourite images of the world famous Liverpool waterfront on the edge of the River Mersey in Merseyside. Standing in pride of place on the Liverpool skyline is the majestic architecture of the Three Graces (the Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building & the Port of Liverpool Building) on Pier Head - known throughout the world, they dominate so many Liverpool landscapes especially when seen from the Wirral.

In addition to the railway, Sheringham beach, the beach huts & the promenade all feature.

The Western beach is backed by a row of large multi coloured terrace houses which stand above the promenade.

The wide glacial valley is encased by tall mountain peaks such as Tryfan, The Devil's Kitchen, Carnedd Llewelyn & Glyder Fawr where the rainwater pours down into natural lakes, the best known being Llyn Idwal (Lake Idwal) & Llyn Ogwen (Lake Ogwen). All images were captured on a rainy day on the Cwm Idwal walk next to Afon Clyd.
