Retired, with more time on my hands to follow my passion for photography. Originally from London now living in Essex, I love to explore the local countryside with my camera. When the opportunity comes to travel, in the UK or abroad, my camera is always to hand. If it catches my eye, I attempt to capture it with my camera.

When the sun is low in the sky or even just dipped below the horizon, it is a magical time of day. Colours seem more intense, the contrast across any scene appears to deepen and you can't help but stand and reflect on what is to come or has past.

Reported to be the most photographed tree in the UK, an iconic feature in an iconic landscape. A must for any long distance walker, standing approximately half way along Hadrian's Wall. Be prepared for all weathers.

Uluru, and the Olgas in Monochrome

Uluru, and the Olgas in Monochrome

Two of the most famous sacred sites to the indigenous people of central Australia and protected as UNESCO World Heritage sites. These large sandstone rock formations are famous for their orange colour at sunrise and sunset. In creating the Monochrome, black and white, images I felt it preserved more of a the sense of reverence these sacred sites deserve and projected an air of Mistry.
