I have been interested in photography for over 35 years and more recently in digital imagery .I am constantly looking for that elusive new picture. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is in northern England. It encompasses thousands of square miles of moors, valleys, hills and villages. Southeast, on the River Wharfe, the Bolton Abbey Estate includes the ruins of a 12th-century monastery. Malham Village features a towering cliff, and a footpath leading to Gordale Scar, a limestone ravine with waterfalls. A 5-arched bridge crosses the river at Burnsall Village

Hartland Quay is a small pebble and rock beach with some areas of sand, along the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast near to the border with Cornwall. It is known for the spectacular scenery and the imposing cliffs that tower over the beach. The rocks that from these cliffs are not only dramatic but of considerable geological interest with their jagged shapes and layered forms.

It's always worth getting up early or staying out late to try avoid the maddening crowds. I try to visit at least three times a year and never tire of it's splendour.
