Photographs of one of the last flights of the AVRO Vulcan, XH558, as it passed over the Lake District, Cumbria, England on its farewell tour of the North of England, 10 October 2015. The photographs were taken from Steel Fell, above the Vulcan as it flew over Dunmail Raise.

Sunrise and Sunset around the UK
A collection of sunrise and sunset images from England and Scotland in the UK. Morecambe is on my doorstep, and renowned for its sunsets and I include many images from around Morecambe Bay, including views across the Bay to the hills of the Lake District. The sunrises can be as stunning as the sunsets, and the early morning departures of small fishing boats provide some unique and spectacular scenes. As sunsets develop the colours can change rapidly from gold to orange to red and then on to purples and blues. Capturing these moments in time while creating an interesting image is always a challenge. Cambridgeshire was my home for many years, and some of my images available here were featured in the National Media.
