About Giclée

The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such prints.

To produce a canvas with the image wrapped around a frame it requires more of the image and sometimes the focus of the image will get wrapped around the frame, which is not ideal. On these occasions it might be better to clone the image around the edge or just print the image onto the front of the canvas and leave the edges white.

Additional extras: About?
Give your canvas durability, with an extra protective layer, it means your canvas can hang in a bathroom and is more resistant to accidental damage, like scratches.

Depending on the colour of the wall where you will hang your Acrylic, it's important to choose either an opaque background ie whites are see through, or choose to have the acrylic finished off with a white coating on the back so that you can hang the item on a dark coloured wall.
